Fennel seeds

Fennel seeds are small, oval-shaped seeds with a light green to pale brown color, harvested from the fennel plant (Foeniculum vulgare). They have a sweet, licorice-like flavor and aroma, often described as slightly minty or peppery. Commonly used in cooking, especially in Indian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean cuisines, fennel seeds add depth to dishes such as curries, stews, breads, and sausages.
